Las Teresitas is
located only eight kilometres north of Santa
Cruz, the capital of Tenerife.
Las Teresitas is regarded as one of the best
beaches in the north of Tenerife. The beach
stretches for almost 1.5 kilometres in a
curving bay sheltered by the Anaga mountains.
The golden sand is imported from Sahara. The
turquoise water is crystal clear and an
artificial reef in front of the beach keeps
the sea calm.
Las Teresitas is very popular and tends to
get fairly busy, especially at weekends.
